XYZ Letters of an alphabet and variables of mathematic equations. And yet so many hidden meanings behind them. Ideas, history, art and culture are just some of them. In between societies, countries and scientific fields, we often observe them change appearance and use. However, they never quit bearing all those different meanings they carried for centuries. Letters we may not know, but always seem familiar. Unique letters, thus dependable parts of a larger image, of a whole where no loss can be forgiven.

We had been preparing the TEDx event feverishly since early September, the same time our new team was formed. We had already booked the venue at Athens College for a grand event. But a few months later, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, and everything came to a halt. With little time to reflect, our team decided that since we couldn’t get approval to host the event with a live audience, we would stream it online instead, ensuring that everyone who had purchased a ticket could still enjoy the unique opportunity to hear the talks.
